Candace Sundby
Candace began her formal education at the Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester, recieving a Bachelor's degree in Music Education and her Master's Degree in Performance and Literature as a voice major. She revieved two Performance Certificates in Voice and Opera, the highest level of achievement at the Eastman School of Music.
Upon graduation, she was awarded a Fullbright Scholarship to study opera in Germany where she won prizes at the International Voice Competition. This resulted in contracts with the Saarbrueken, Germany Opera house and with orchestras in France, Germany and Switzerland.
Candace is a member of NATS, FSMTA and is the President for District VII FMTA. She directed the Florida Southwestern State College Chorale and taught Voice for FSW. Candace is currently the Chorus, Keyboard, and Orchestra director at Harns Marsh Middle School for The Arts and Academics.
